    Cedar Bluff Campground - Bass Lake California {Video}

    Cedar Bluff Campground is located on Bass Lake in central California near the town of Oakhurst. This very popular camping destination was made famous by the 1980's film "The Great Outdoors" starring Dan Ackroyd and John Candy.

    Today visitors come and enjoy all that Bass Lake offers including fishing, water skiing, boating, swimming, and hiking. If that's not enough, there are several events around Bass Lake and Oakhurst, and Yosemite National Park.

    The Cedar Bluff Campground is managed by California Land Management through the US Forest Service. This campground has quite a bit of sunshine so make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The area is surrounded by pine, oak, and cedar trees and the lower loops have nice views of Bass Lake. Campers can also find several day-use areas around the lake to enjoy.
