Bryce Canyon National Park Camping Guide

Bryce Canyon National Park Camping includes two front-country campgrounds located near the visitor center and Sunset Point along with Backcountry Camping.

    Bryce Canyon Camping Guide

Within Bryce Canyon, you will find the North and Sunset campgrounds that offer easy access to hiking trails, the Bryce Canyon Shuttle, and so much more.

One thing about camping in Bryce Canyon is you need to be prepared for elevation and weather changes. We visited the park right around Memorial Day a couple of years ago and it was snowing while we were there.

The campgrounds sit at approximately 8,000 feet so you will want to be prepared to be at this elevation.

Camping in Bryce Canyon NP is extremely popular, especially during the peak season. If you are unable to find a campsite in the park campgrounds here are alternative campgrounds.

Kodachrome Basin State Park - This campground is about 35 miles from the park and fantastic. We have camped here multiple times and really enjoyed it.

Ruby's Inn RV park and campground - This campground is located less than 3 miles from the park entrance in Bryce Canyon City

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground - located 10 miles from the park.

King Creek Campground in Dixie National Forest - This campground is 35 minutes from the park. This campground is in a Ponderosa Pine Forest.
