Summit Lake North Campground - Lassen Volcanic National Park

Summit Lake North Campground in Lassen Volcanic National Park, California is a gorgeous campground right next to a lake. The campground offers easy access to hiking, the Lassen Volcanic NP scenic drive, water activities and more.

Location in the park: 12 miles south of Manzanita Lake, 17.5 miles north of Southwest Entrance.

Dump Station: Closest dump station at Manzanita Lake

Generators: Generators may be used only from 8 am to 10 am; 12 pm to 2 pm; and 5 pm to 7 pm. 

Hookups: There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups

How to get to Summit Lake North Campground

From Redding, California take State Highway 44 east approximately 48 miles to the Manzanita Lake entrance of the park. The campground is 14 miles south of the entrance on the main park road.
 

Campground Regulations

The maximum number of people in a campsite: 6

The number of cars per campsite: 2 licensed vehicles and 3 tents per camp pad

Checkout time: 12 noon

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 

Maximum Stay: limited to 14 days
