    North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park

    The North Campground in Bryce Canyon National Park is centrally located in the park just past the visitor center. One thing to be prepared for is the high elevation of the park. 

    You will be over 8,000 feet in elevation surrounded by pine forest. During the 2019 season, the park repaved both Bryce Canyon Campgrounds.

    Location in the park: North Campground is located across the road to the east of the Visitor Center

    Campsite Cost: Per Tent Site / Per Night = $20
    Per RV Site / Per Night = $30

     Holders of the following passes (with valid ID) receive a 50% discount on their camping fees: Golden Age & Golden Access Passes; America the Beautiful Federal Lands Senior Pass (lifetime pass for U.S. residents 62 years and older); America the Beautiful Federal Lands Access Pass (lifetime pass for U.S. residents with a permanent disability).

    Accessible Sites: No, ADA sites are located in sites 223 and 224 in Loop A of Sunset Campground

    Pets Allowed: Pets are allowed on paved areas of the campground. They must be on a leash less than 6 feet long.

    Is camp host available on site? Depends on the time of year

    Is firewood available for purchase? Firewood is available for purchase at nearby stores.

    Bear Box in site/area? No

    Potable Water? Potable water is available near the dump station.

    Campsite 8

    RV Camping at Campground

    RV Length: Loops A & B of North Campground are primarily for RVs and the only loops for vehicles over 20 ft / 6 m.

    Dump Station: Yes, $5 fee for the dump station

    Generators: The use of generators is allowed in RV areas only. Generators are permitted from 8 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 8 pm.

    Hookups: No sewer, water, or electrical hook-ups available

    Potable water is available near the dump station.

    Campground Regulations

    The maximum number of people in a campsite: Maximum occupancy per campsite is 10 people, no more than 6 adults ages 16 and up

    The number of cars per campsite: 2 cars or 4 motorcycles

    Checkout time: 12 pm

    Quiet Hours: 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m

    Maximum Stay: 14 consecutive days, 30 days a year. 

    Hammocks are not permitted to be hung from trees anywhere in the park, and must only be used with free-standing supports.

    $80.00 - For the America the Beautiful/National Park Pass. The pass covers entrance fees to all US National Park Sites and over 2,000 Federal Recreation Fee Sites for an entire year and covers everyone in the car for per-vehicle sites and up to 4 adults for per-person sites.

    I feel like I need to mention that these photos were taken in June during a snowstorm. I wish the weather would have been a bit better so you could see the campsite pics a little easier. These were also taken before the campground was paved. We were told that by the end of summer 2019 the campground should be re-paved and updated. 

    Loops A & B are for RV campers. Loops C & D are for tent campers.
