Newhalem Creek Campground - North Cascades National Park is located right of State Route 20 (North Cascades Highway).
North Cascades National Park visitors will appreciate that the Newhalem Campground is a short walking distance to the park's visitor center and a couple of the park's hiking trails. This means you park at your campsite and then don't have to worry about having to find a parking space at the visitor center!
Newhalem Creek Campground - North Cascades National Park
The campground is located along the Skagit River and is in a lush forest that everyone expects to see in the beautiful state of Washington.
I would highly suggest trying to get a reservation in loop A or loop B as there are more trees and understory that will give you a buffer between sites. You can tell that there was a fire at one point in loop C and there is much less understory. This means it is easier to see and hear your neighbors. Of course on the bright side, you would see more sunlight.
