Sierra Sky Ranch
Just imagine yourself relaxing at a converted mountain ranch house with massive oak and pine trees as you sit on the veranda, soaking up the beauty of this area! Perhaps finding an excellent quiet location like the library and reading a good book.
I personally really enjoyed taking a dip in the seasonal outdoor swimming pool! Perhaps you will prefer sitting in the hotel's great room with friends/family around one of the two beautiful fireplaces, beamed ceilings, knotty pine walls, and a grand piano next to a fun pile of board games and puzzles.
The hotel also has free coffee, daily newspapers, and water available all day, along with a selection of tea and hot chocolate for guests.
One of the cool things that guests love about the Sierra Sky Ranch property is it was the first working cattle ranch in the area, established in 1875.
The Sierra Sky Ranch is a 28-room hotel in the Ascend Hotel Collection in Oakhurst. They will be transitioning to an independent hotel beginning in 2025, with plans to expand in the summer of 2025.
We had the opportunity to stay at the Sierra Sky Ranch during our California Big Trees Road Trip, and we loved it!
We will absolutely go back on an upcoming visit; we will plan time to relax more at the hotel to soak it all in.

We enjoyed the suite and loved having the sitting room to relax in before heading to bed. We could work from the sitting room and relax after a great day exploring the area.
There is also a small two-person table with chairs with a Keurig coffee maker, and 4 K-cups ready for you.
