Jumbo Rocks Campground - Joshua Tree National Park

Jumbo Rocks Campground is in the heart of Joshua Tree National Park approximately 18 miles from the entrance. This campground is truly beautiful and a great place to spend time in the park.

One thing to be aware of is the Jumbo Rock Campground has no water or hookups. You will need to be fully prepared for camping with no available water. The campsites are gravel/sand and surrounded by jumbo rocks. The campground can get quite hot in the summer so please be prepared for temperatures over 100 degrees.

You will want to keep an eye out for local inhabitants that may live among the rocks including bugs, scorpions, snakes, and birds. We saw a ton of amazing birds in this campground.
