The Hale Bathhouse, now Hotel Hale, opened in May 2019, by Ellen and Pat McCabe. Pat is the Mayor of Hot Springs and is often seen in the hotel.
Hotel Hale offers an opportunity to stay in the oldest building on Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park. The hotel's prime location provides easy access to the park, downtown Hot Springs, and, of course, Bathhouse Row.
It is between the Superior Bathhouse, the home of Superior Bathhouse Brewery, and the Maurice Bathhouse, which is currently vacant. Just past the Maurice Bathhouse is the Fordyce Bathhouse, the visitor center for Hot Springs National Park.
Staying at Hotel Hale is taking a step into history, while also enjoying warm hospitality in this one-of-a-kind experience. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, creating an intimate experience with only nine guest rooms.
Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your room, and you will be introduced to some of the unique quirks that come with staying in a Historic Hotel. Don't worry, it's nothing bad. They take the time to describe how to properly draw a bath with the piped-in thermal hot spring water for the best experience, how to work the locks from an older building, etc. You also get handed a piece of paper with breakfast options for the next morning. Breakfast items include granola, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and quiche. Then all you have to do is show up the next morning for your breakfast.
Don't worry about booking a bath at a bathhouse (unless you want a massage); the bathrooms in Hotel Hale include a large soaking tub you can fill with hot-spring water!
Dining at Eden is a delight for your taste buds! Everything from the Burrata Cheese Bake and Mushroom Soup to the Shrimp Ziti Bake was excellent. Nothing could have prepared me for the Gooey Butter Cake! This was so decadent and delicious that I would happily go back again just for this dessert!

Restaurants and Bars/Lounges
Eden restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with a bar that features a living wall, allowing guests to experience it while enjoying their meal. Eden is also home to a beautiful skylight that will enable guests to enjoy lunch with natural daylight and stargazing at night, adding to the experience.
I highly recommend eating at Eden as the food was absolutely delicious! It was, hands down, one of the best meals I have had in a hotel/lodge in a National Park.

Hot Springs National Park Self-Guided Driving and Walking Tour
⭐️ Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars | ⏳ Tour Length: 2-3 hours | 🔊Check Rates and Availability
Do you like to discover a park at your own pace? My wife and I do too, and we decided to purchase this self-guided tour and ended up really enjoying it! It was easy to use and really helped us learn more about the park and appreciate it more. It was especially helpful, as we went during one of the government shutdowns, yet we were still able to enjoy learning about the area. The self-guided tour included narration on 29 areas of the park, most lasting about 5 minutes each.
