Least Visited National Park Sites

One of the questions we get asked a lot is how do I avoid the crowds in the parks? How do I get out and not trip over a ton of other people? Are there parks that are still easy to visit? Today we are sharing the least visited National Park Sites. There are 80 sites with less than 25,000 visitors in 2021. 

These parks are spread across the country and not all of them are hard to reach.

 

2021 Least Visited National Park Sites

Sure there is Aniakchak National Monument & Preserve in Alaska along the Bering Sea which is pretty darn remote and hard to reach. Though it looks epic there is probably a reason they only had around 100 visitors last year.

But then there is Russel Cave National Monument which is located in northern Alabama right near the border with Tennessee. This park is an archaeological site with one of the most complete records of prehistoric cultures in the Southeast. It is hard to believe a park that is close to some major us cities only receives 16,642 visitors in a year.
